With less than a month to go until the very first Women Installers Together (WIT) Conference, founder of Stopcocks Women Plumbers, Hattie Hasan, is gearing up for what promises to be an exciting day.

Hattie said: “We can’t wait to network with women plumbers, gas engineers and installers from across the UK at the first WIT Conference, to share knowledge, experience and tips for continued success in the industry. If you’re thinking of joining us, there’s still time to book your ticket via our Eventbrite page online – we hope to see you there!

“In the lead up to the event, we are inviting women in the industry to have their say on Twitter and join the WIT conversation. We’re asking you to tweet using the hashtag #WITConference to tell us about your inspiration, experiences, and tips. We’d love to hear about:

1. When and why you became an installer
2. The most interesting, challenging or memorable job of your career
3. The best piece of advice you’ve ever received

“Our event sponsor, Polypipe, one of the UK’s leading manufacturers of plastic piping systems, has kindly donated three small prizes, which we’ll be awarding to the best submission received on each topic between August 21 and September 1, 2017.

“Come and find your tribe over on Twitter and at the WIT Conference on September 13 – the countdown is on!”
