ADEY is awarded for its development of new chemical formulationsADEY’s research and development work in chemicals and water treatment has been recognised with a Queen’s Award for Enterprise in the innovation category. Announced by Her Majesty The Queen, this prestigious award is the UK’s highest accolade for business success.

ADEY received the award for the development of new chemical formulations for its MC1+ ‘Protector’ and MC3+ ‘Cleaner’ range of products, designed to work in tandem with the company’s market-leading MagnaClean magnetic filters.

John Vaughan, chief executive, said: “Since our original invention of magnetic filtration and the MagnaClean filter – which also received a Queen’s Award for innovation – we’ve been committed to developing an integrated best practice approach to heating system protection. The introduction of a new arm within the business to research, create and test innovative and highly advanced chemical formulations was a natural step.

“Innovation continues to sit at the heart of the ADEY story and we’re incredibly honoured to be recognised with a second Queen’s Award that recognises the advances we’ve made in the development of the most effective water treatment chemicals on the market. It’s testament to our highly skilled team of experts and has gives the whole company a massive boost.”
