New chief executive appointed by JTL

JTL has appointed a new chief executive, who takes up his position at the end of March.

Jon Graham joins the charitable training company from previous roles in professional and vocational training, most recently as the managing director of the Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy (CIPFA) and prior to this at Kaplan.

After graduating, Jon trained and qualified as a chartered accountant with BDO, in London, and following a secondment to its training department became increasingly engaged in training issues. He then joined a professional training organisation, which he subsequently purchased with private equity. The business was later sold to Kaplan in 2006. In April 2010, he began a four and a half year period at CIPFA.

Jon said: “JTL has a proud record in supporting the well-being and development of skills in the electrical, plumbing and heating trades.

“The company has many highly skilled and dedicated staff and I am looking forward to working with it in helping JTL develop and grow its impressive services. The challenge is now taking the organisation to the next level and I am greatly looking forward to my new role.”
