F&P, the distributor of heating, plumbing and bathroom products to the independent merchant sector, has appointed Sophie Twiggs as key accounts manager for the Central Region.
Sophie joins F&P from Sunderland-based manufacturer, Salamander Shower Pumps, where she was national account manager for three years and responsible for growing market share of plastic ended shower pumps within national merchants. Sophie’s career so far has also included roles in customer service, distribution, customer relationship management and managing various national accounts.
Sophie has now taken on the role of key accounts manager for the central region at F&P, where she will work to build customer relationships and grow the merchant distribution network. Sophie will also work on establishing relationships with key account customers, working in close contact with them to ensure all areas of the business – from the trade counter to the administration office – are aligned and running as closely as possible with F&P. In addition, part of Sophie’s role will be to support the key accounts as they expand their branch networks, while making every effort to ensure F&P is on-hand to support its businesses.
