The owner of a family run business in West Sussex has joined Baxi in celebrating a key milestone, after registering the 500,000th boiler through its loyalty scheme.

Vic Greenfield, who owns and runs Greenfield Services, in Worthing, registered the Baxi Platinum HE A on the works loyalty scheme after completing an installation for one of their customers.

As the lucky 500,000th installer, Vic received a prize package including a Baxi Platinum HE A and flue, a work wear bundle including trousers and a jointly branded t-shirt and jacket, an iPad mini, and a break for two at the Welcombe Spa and Golf Club in Stratford-upon-Avon.

Working as a gas engineer for over 20 years, Victor is a former British Gas engineer. He set up Greenfield Services in 1997, and offers a range of heating solutions from its customer-facing showroom in Broadwater, Worthing.

Vic said: “We install and register Baxi boilers for customers every day, so it was a nice surprise to strike it lucky with the 500,000th registration.

“The boiler and work wear are a great boost for the business, but I’m looking forward to the mini break too – it will be a nice treat for myself and my wife, Karen, who is also our office manager.”

David Cook, sales director at Baxi, said: “It’s an absolute delight to be able to pass on a token of our thanks to the installer who registered our 500,000th boiler.

“Reaching this milestone is testament to the success of our mission to make installers’ lives easier, and the validity of our works loyalty scheme, which provides busy installers with a simple route to Gas Safe and warranty registration.

“We’d like to thank all those installers for their ongoing support. Here’s to the next half million!”
