A leading international manufacturer of heating and cooling systems and a global manufacturer and supplier of water and heating technology have joined the Builders Merchants Federation (BMF).

The Viessmann Group, which employs over 12,000 people worldwide, has its UK HQ in Telford. From here the company offers tailor-made systems for domestic, commercial and industrial heating, cooling, power and air conditioning systems, and trains around 2,500 installers, contractors, specifiers on its products each year.

Watts Water Technologies has joined the BMF as a Supplier Member. Watts Industries UK is pivotal in the development of water technologies at point of entry and point of use. It is also instrumental in heating controls and gas valves, enabling it to provide solutions across the domestic and commercial portfolio, including plumbing and flow control, water quality and conditioning, water reuse and drainage, HVAC and municipal waterworks.

“The BMF plays a vital part in co-ordinating all sectors of the construction industry and we are pleased to be working with them to support those that require water technology products,” said Dave Raynor, product manager Watts Industries UK.

BMF CEO, John Newcomb, said: “It’s great to have Viessmann on board. Our members are at the heart of everything we do and I’m sure Viessmann will gain value from being part of a strong trade body.”

John added: “We are delighted that Watts has joined the BMF and already has plans to utilise its membership to the full. I am looking forward to working with it in the coming months.”
