Triton Showers raises £2,000 for local children’s charity

Triton Showers has continued its partnership with Zoë’s Place Baby Hospice by raising £2,000 for the local charity.

Colleagues at Triton came together to organise an Easter raffle, where just under £950 was initially given, which the shower manufacturer matched and rounded up to a total of £2,000.

The funds raised will go towards the Zoë’s Place ‘Pay for a Day’ campaign, where Triton has pledged to raise £3,300 to cover the approximate costs for a day of care. Triton is one of the first companies to pledge its support for the project, which was founded after Zoë’s Place was forced to reduce its service from seven to around four days per week because of the first national lockdown.

Tina Simpson, marketing director at Triton Showers, said: “Our ongoing connection with Zoë’s Place is extremely important to everyone in the organisation, so we are always looking for interesting activities that the whole team can get involved with.”

Meanwhile, Tanita Mistry, corporate fundraiser at Zoë’s Place, added: “With companies like Triton pledging to sponsor a day of care, Zoë’s Place can continue to provide support for babies and infants and hopefully soon return to providing a seven-day service.”
