Toolstation has celebrated a significant milestone by opening its 400th branch on the Zennor Trade Park in Balham.
To mark the occasion 400 Greggs sausage rolls and doughnuts were given away.
The business has reported ten consecutive quarters of double-digit growth, with most recent Q3 trading results showing growth of 21.3% and 15.4% on a like for like basis.
Toolstation managing director James MacKenzie and marketing director John Meaden cut a ribbon to celebrate the 400th store opening, as well cutting a celebratory cake with customers and staff.
The Balham branch is Toolstation’s 64th in London, employing seven people permanently. Its ambition is to double the number of stores in the capital in the coming years.
