Putting the customer at the heart of its business has seen Spirotech achieve a trio of internationally recognised quality standards.

The ISO standards are benchmarks of best practice within the industry and cover the company’s quality management, environmental impact and health and safety procedures. They are confirmed only after a rigorous audit by independent assessors.

Kevan Peaker, UK business unit director, said: “These certifications confirm we are a strong, well managed business focused on continuous improvement, with the customer central to all that we do.

“We are dedicated to achieving high quality in every aspect, while minimising any impact on the environment.”

“It was particularly pleasing to have achieved ISO-45001: 2018, which examines a company’s occupational health and safety management system.

“This is a newly-introduced certification and we believe we are among the first in our industry to achieve it,” said Kevan.

To meet the standard, Spirotech had to demonstrate a ‘robust and effective’ set of practices for maintaining a safe and healthy workplace within a global supply chain.

The other two awards were successful renewals of previously held certifications.

They were for ISO-9001: 2015, confirming Spirotech’s ability to consistently provide products and services that meet customer and regulatory requirements while enhancing customer satisfaction, and ISO 14001: 2015, which looks at how a company manages its environmental responsibilities.
