Representatives from across the trade are expressing their sadness and sympathy following the death of Her Majesty The Queen.
A period of mourning has commenced after Queen Elizabeth II died peacefully yesterday at the age of 96, with large crowds now paying their respects at Balmoral, Buckingham Palace and beyond.
The news has brought sadness across the industry, with the Builders Merchant Federation saying: “We thank her for the remarkable 70 years of service she gave to our country, and offer our sincere condolences to the Royal Family at this sad time.”
