Following the sad passing of Queen Elizabeth II last week and the announcement of an official mourning period, Gas Safe Register’s Gas Safety Week activity planned for next week will no longer go ahead.
The organisation said it would not be undertaking its planned media push, from today (12 September) and has suspended plans for digital and social media activity for the campaign this year.
“We recognise that this is a unique set of circumstances and are pausing the majority of our activities accordingly but acknowledge that all supporting organisations will be making their own decisions regarding their own activities for the week,” a statement added.
