Ideal Boilers has just taken its three-millionth Logic boiler off the production line.
The boiler was produced at the business’ factory in Hull, where it has been designing, developing and manufacturing boilers for more than a century.
It now claims that one in every four new domestic boilers being installed across the country bears the Ideal name.
Launched in 2009, the Logic range quickly became Ideal’s best-seller and includes the Logic, Logic + and Logic Max.
Shaun Edwards, chief executive officer at Groupe Atlantic UK, ROI and North America Divisions, said: “This milestone follows an incredibly successful 2019 for Ideal Boilers. We’ve increased our market share to more than 25% by adopting new techniques, increasing efficiency on our production line, and demonstrating our ongoing commitment to innovation – all of which mean we consistently deliver the quality our customers expect.
“In the process, we’ve strengthened our teams with more local talent and we’ve more than tripled our overall manufacturing output, all without increasing the footprint of the business. We’re incredibly proud of what we’ve achieved in the last 12 months and look forward to building on this in 2020.”
