BMF raises industry issues at Conservative Party Conference

The Builders Merchants Federation (BMF) has been talking about major industry issues at the Conservative Party Conference during a series of discussions with key ministers.

John Newcomb, BMF’s CEO and Brett Amphlett, policy and public affairs manager, have met chancellor Jeremy Hunt MP, construction minister Nusrat Ghani MP, the housing minister Rachel Maclean, and Lord Callanan, energy efficiency minister.

Throughout their conversations they have raised the challenges in the construction sector, and possible solutions, so government are aware of the key issues currently affecting BMF members.
