Stelrad Radiators has won an International Safety Award with distinction from the British Safety Council in recognition of its commitment to keeping its workers and workplaces healthy and safe during the 2015 calendar year.
Stelrad Radiators is one of 30 organisations to win a distinction in the 2016 International Safety Awards and the only company in the heating and plumbing sector.
Stelrad’s health and safety and environmental manager, David Atkinson said: “This is further excellent recognition of the huge amount of work we put into health and safety on our premises. It also highlights the culture of health and safety we have built in our manufacturing units and logistics areas and shows the value of having everyone in the business pulling in the same direction when it comes to day to day health and safety efforts. It’s an award that can be shared by everyone on site at Mexborough.”
