Robert Burke is technical and standards manager at HETAS and is president of the British Flue and Chimney Manufacturers Association. He has a wealth of experience in the solid fuel and biomass industry, and has been involved with writing standards for chimneys, flues and solid fuel appliances. Robert is actively involved with lobbying government on UK Building Regulations issues and European directives.
At HETAS, he’s responsible for regulations and standards, and manages appliance approvals and certification. He is also heavily involved with the new HETAS Microgeneration Certification Scheme, chairs the HETAS Technical committee and is also responsible for the HETAS Guide.
