Martyn Bridges is director of marketing and technical support at Worcester, Bosch Group and has held his current position at Worcester, part of the Bosch Group for the last five years.
Martyn began his career as a heating and plumbing apprentice and in this time developed both strong technical knowledge and a valuable insight into the industry. He joined Worcester in 1986 as a technical service engineer and worked his way through the ranks to become director of marketing and technical support in December 2004.
Martyn remains a highly respected and influential individual within the plumbing and heating trade and currently holds positions of high regard in the industry, including, non executive director of OFTEC and chairman of the Member Services Council of OFTEC. He is also a member of the Technical Panel for the SGBI, the Steering Committee Benchmark Initiative and the Industrial Associates Working Group, where he is participating in the rewrite of section L of Building Regulations.
Martyn is also a member of the CIPHE and the Institute of Domestic Heating Engineers and has now been working in the industry for 30 years.
