Plumb Center’s new Practical Installer will help installers get running with renewables

plumb partsInstallers wanting to break into renewables and energy-efficient heating should make sure they make a date to visit Plumb Center’s Practical Installer at Ecobuild 2015.

Practical Installer will guide installers with sound, practical business advice on how to profit from renewables and energy-efficiency, whether they’re just taking their first tentative steps or already up and running.

Acting as the business hub for Ecobuild’s Energy Section, Practical Installer will include a ‘business clinic’ promoting opportunities across the biomass and heat pump markets. Installers will also be able to see products in action from manufacturers, including: Mitsubishi Electric, Dimplex, Grant, Trianco, Honeywell, Fernox, Wilo and Heatrae Sadia.

Plumb Center’s renewables and energy-efficiency experts will deliver tailored business advice to installers, as well as demonstrating how its new, central, specialist renewables team can help their business thrive by passing them hot, qualified leads and then supporting them through the design, quotation and installation process.

Tim Pollard, Plumb Center’s head of sustainability, said: “We are fully committed to helping gas and oil installers’ transition from fossil fuel technologies to renewables, and supporting those who are already MCS accredited, every step of the way. Practical Installer 2015 will focus on providing the information installers need throughout their renewables journey.

“From training and accreditation at the outset, to helping them optimise sales and marketing channels, get to grips with the finance, understand the latest legislation and implement best practice, Plumb Center’s dedicated team will be on hand with the best advice. Plus, they can see the products they are likely to be installing first-hand and actually working. It really will be the place for installers to go for all-round renewables and energy-efficiency advice”.

Practical Installer at Ecobuild will take place from March 3-5, at London’s ExCeL. Visit: ecobuild.co.uk to register.
