Viessmann increases standard warranty for entire Vitodens residential boiler range

Viessmann

Viessmann UK has announced that the standard warranty of its entire Vitodens residential boiler range is extended to seven years.

Viessmann’s clear and generous range-wide warranty promise to the UK market applies to all Vitodens boilers up to 35 kW output. Customers may select to purchase an even longer warranty period of 10 or 12 years.

Vitodens is Viessmann’s family of gas-condensing boilers, available as 050-W, 100-W, 111-W and 200-W wall-hung models and as a 222-F floor standing model. Vitodens combi boilers are a Which? Best Buy. The range has a reputation for exceptional quality and reliability, compactness, energy efficiency and economical operation.

Chris Johnson, UK director of sales at Viessmann, said: “We’re really pleased to be able to bring this level of product security to our valued customers in the UK. As a company that’s committed to producing quality products that are built to last, we’re extremely proud of the performance and reliability of our Vitodens range, including our Which? Best Buy combi boilers.

“This warranty promise reflects the confidence we have in our products and it is in addition to the 10 year guarantee on the Inox-Radial stainless steel heat exchanger in all our Vitodens boilers. It makes Viessmann boilers a wise choice for consumers and will hopefully be welcomed by our loyal installers. The standard seven-year warranty marks an increase in cover across all models, and as much as four years in some cases.”

Gas condensing boilers remain the most popular choice for generating heating and hot water in UK homes, operating cleanly and efficiently using energy from natural gas. As the UK looks to tackle the cost-of-living crisis, efficient boilers are rightly being highlighted as a key means of reducing emissions and helping households become more energy efficient.

Johnson added: “As the UK heightens its focus on encouraging more energy efficient domestic living, investing in quality boilers with modulating flow temperatures and lower output models is one important step households can take. Our ongoing aim is to challenge and exceed expectations with exceptional products and levels of service. With these standard warranty improvements across the Vitodens range, we aim to provide greater peace of mind for consumers that their investments will be both safe and worthwhile.”
