Ambiente’s new AmbiSolo system gives a whole new meaning to fitting underfloor heating in a refurbishment project. Traditionally, fitting UFH into an existing building has meant laying pre-grooved panels over existing floor surfaces which often comes with its own challenges: lengthy installation process, often requires sub-floor to be levelled prior to install etc.
However, with the AmbiSolo system, the installation process is quick and the end result is a floor surface that can accept any floor covering directly.
AmbiSolo challenges the traditional retro-fit system, in terms of both exceptional heat output and rapid response time.

The installation process is as simple as:
- AmbiSolo panels laid onto structural floor surface (self-adhesive)
- Ambiente 12mm pipework clipped into the panels as per design
- System is covered with 20mm of reinforced levelling compound
The levelling compound that is poured on top of the system must be both flexible and fibre-reinforced. Ambiente offers very competitive rates on levelling compounds, or for larger areas Ambiente can put forward a recommended contractor to pump the compound in directly.
