On September 2, Shaun Scott from Aberdeenshire, was announced as the winner of the UK Plumber of the Year 2016.
Following hundreds of entries from all over the UK, Shaun travelled to Tamworth to attend a final interview session with four other finalists where the challenge was to impress an industry judging panel. Shaun, who works for Derek Scott Plumbing and has been a plumbing engineer for nine years, impressed the judging panel in the final session of the competition with his determination, skill-set and his vision for the future.
As well as the honour of becoming the second-ever UK Plumber of the Year, Shaun takes home £10,000 worth of prizes, including JT and Bristan products, vouchers to spend at his nearest Plumb Center and products from Arctic, Big Wipes, CAT, CK Tools, Epson, Milwaukee, Monument, PayPal, Regin, Rothenberger and Toolbank.
