Steve Willis Training Centres has appointed Grant Docking as business development and recruitment advisor.
With over 17 years’ experience in the short course and vocational training arena, specifically working within the building engineering services (BES) industry; Grant is working with the team at both their Sussex and Hampshire centres.
His responsibilities include working with businesses of all sizes, from sole traders to national contractors and service providers, in developing training plans enabling them to meet their regulatory assessment obligations. He will also assist businesses with streamlining, helping them to meet their own business objectives through training, as well as promoting the inclusion of new entrants via the government funded apprenticeship scheme, notably in domestic gas, electrical installation and plumbing.
Grant has joined Steve Willis Training Centres following a period of self-employed consultancy work; prior to this and over the preceding 16 years he held the position of business development manager with other BES training providers based in Hampshire.
