ELCO UK has announced the appointment of Alan Hough as the new area sales manager for the South West of England and South Wales.
Replacing Graham Salmon, who has retired from the company, Alan has a proven track record in field based sales, with previous roles at A1 Flue Systems, as well as other leading boiler manufacturers.
Commenting on the new role, Alan said: “I’m really proud to have joined a major manufacturer of commercial heating equipment. The range from ELCO is extremely competitive and the quality is superb, so I’m looking forward to speaking to consultants and contractors about how our products can benefit their projects. The customer base in the South West is already strong, but I’m dedicated to increasing our market share and raising awareness of the ELCO brand.”
Alan is perfectly placed to advise customers on their projects, having qualified as an engineer over 30 years ago and going on to work on a broad spectrum of products in the commercial heating industry. Such is his dedication to the industry, he still holds onto his gas safety certificate today, with extensive knowledge on many aspects of system design and commissioning requirements.
