Graham Plumbers’ Merchant has appointed Asa Finnigan as its new national contract sales director, where he will oversee the contract sales team and support Graham’s current and new business opportunities within the new build, social housing and commercial sectors.
With 27 years of experience in the industry, Asa has previously held the position of southern regional sales director and later national senior accounts director for two well-known plumbing and heating brands. Both positions allowed him to work alongside key stakeholders in the P&H contractor sector and manufacturing business.
Asa joined Graham in 2017 as an area director and will now also oversee the estimating services team who support the Graham key account managers and the wider business.
Commenting on his appointment, Asa said: “Graham has strong expertise and heritage in the heating and plumbing industry, and we can do so much more in terms of contract sales.
“This is an opportunity for us to start driving new business, to better utilise our position in the supply chain and strong manufacturer relationships to have a positive impact on the efficiency and add value to larger scale projects.
“Over the next few years, Graham will also be investing in its product portfolio and expanding its market offering. For example, by 2025, gas boilers will no longer be installed in new build developments. We are looking at the new technologies available and learning with our supplier partners about how we can best support market changes like this and support sustainability initiatives.”
