Gledhill, the cylinder specialist, has appointed Andy Hirst to the role of sales director, with responsibility for developing and delivering the company’s sales strategy in the UK and across key export markets.
Bringing more than 20 years’ experience in the merchant sector to Gledhill, Andy joins the company from Plumbase, where he spent ten years in a variety of roles, most recently as sales development director for the northern region.
His track record with Plumbase includes both regional sales manager and branch manager roles and his commercial skills also saw him take on a troubleshooting remit on several occasions, with responsibility for improving the performance of branches within the Plumbase network.gl
