Climate Center announces new appointment…

ccPeter Woods has joined Climate Center as technical services manager to further develop the business’ capabilities and offer customers an even better service.

Peter will be running Climate Center’s custom build base in Newbury, Berkshire, where the emphasis is on delivering high quality solutions that meet customers’ specific requirements, from complete packaged systems to condensing units.

As well as running the shop floor, a key part of Peter’s role, will involve working closely with the sales team to provide pre-sales support and on going technical advice for Climate Center’s customers and business partners.

Peter’s specialist knowledge accumulated over 25 years in the HVAC industry will be invaluable to customers, particularly when dealing with large-scale refrigeration projects.

Andy Wighton, Pipe and Climate Center’s managing director, said:

“Peter’s extensive knowledge of condensers, dry coolers, reverse cycle heat pumps, fan coils, condensing units and controls, will help us provide our customers and partners with technical services. I am confident that his addition to the team will help us to continue on our journey of becoming the distributor of choice in our industry.”

Prior to joining Climate Center, Peter worked for a number of manufacturers in design and developmental roles as well as technical sales.

Peter replaces Climate Center technical manager, Gordon Adams, who recently retired from full-time employment. Gordon will continue working with Climate Center on a part-time basis so that the business retains his extensive knowledge and skills and there is a smooth transition for Peter into his new role.
