WIT 26 releases tickets

WIT 26

WIT 26 is set to return to the London Metropolitan University on Friday 3 July.

Free tickets for all tradeswomen and women trades trainees have now been released.

According to event organisers, WIT is a full day event for all tradeswomen, tradeswomen in training and those who want to understand more about increasing the numbers of tradeswomen in their teams. They said that the event started because the majority of tradeswomen never have the chance to meet other tradeswomen.

Speakers for this year’s event include Hattie Hasan MBE, founder of this event and Stopcocks Women Plumbers, and Bonita Norris, the youngest person to reach both the summit of Everest and the North Pole.

Organisers said that WIT features personal/professional development, opportunities to talk about individual experiences and to hear the experiences of others, chances to meet and talk to companies and suppliers in the sector, a raffle with prizes, goody bags and a free lunch.

This year’s sponsors include Vaillant UK, Mira Showers, City Plumbing, LCL Awards, Monument Tools, International Gas Detectors, Eurotron Instruments UK, On The Tools and Kelliher Insurance Group.
