The Association of Plumbing and Heating Contractors (APHC) has called on everyone across the plumbing and heating industry to get involved in Quality Plumber Week 2026 (QPW26), which is running from 5 to 11 October.
Organised annually by APHC, QPW26 is a nationwide industry initiative that highlights the positive work taking place across plumbing and heating.
Held in partnership with Installer, this year’s Quality Plumber Week will feature a programme of competitions, webinars, articles and awards. These are all designed to celebrate installers who demonstrate high standards of workmanship, professionalism and customer service.
As part of the week, the Quality Plumber Week Awards will take place. The statement added that the awards recognise the dedication, skill and passion that plumbers and heating engineers bring to their work.
There are seven awards, with each category sponsored by a company in the plumbing and heating industry. The categories are: Sustainable Installer of the Year, sponsored by Resideo, Caring for the Community, sponsored by BPEC, Commitment to Training, sponsored by Altecnic, APHC Installer of the Year, sponsored by Instantor, Embracing Technology, sponsored by Hansgrohe, Rising Star, sponsored by Premierline, and Diversity, Equality and Inclusion Champion, sponsored by Neomitis.
Award prizes are worth a minimum of £250 per category, alongside a glass trophy for the winners.
APHC has encouraged installers, manufacturers, suppliers and others across the industry to join the conversation throughout the week and share their Quality Plumber Week content and celebrations across social media using #QPW26.
