Homeowners are searching for plumbing related advice on the internet ahead of other DIY issues, according to a latest survey.
Research by Sell House Fast UK found that ‘how to bleed a radiator?’ received 18,100 online queries every month, the equivalent of 50 Google searches per day.
A significant proportion of Brits were also relying on Google to provide them with solutions on how best to unblock their toilet – with 12,100 searches a month.
How to unblock a sink was being searched 5,400 times every month.
There were 2,400 monthly Google searches for how to read gas meter, according to the findings, while ‘how to grout’ generated 1,000 online searches each month.
