New JTL campaign reaches out to employers

JTL, one of the leading apprenticeship providers in the building services engineering sector in England and Wales, has reminded tradespeople of the advantages of taking on an apprentice.

Its new ‘Employers like YOU hire apprentices’ campaign encourages employers to take on apprentices by sharing the first-hand experiences of employers who have already done so.

The campaign, which uses video interviews, will continue to evolve as further testimonials are released.

Videos will demonstrate how taking on an apprentice is a reliable method for building a skilled and loyal workforce, with each 30 second film containing a direct excerpt from an interview with an employer operating within a trade.

Employers that take on a JTL apprentice will receive a dedicated training officer to manage the apprenticeship process from the initial appointment through to completion.

Hayley Tabberer, campaign manager at JTL, said: “For this campaign, we thought we’d do something a bit different and let the employers who we work with speak for us. It was our hope that this would create some authentic testimonials about the value of apprentices, and we think these videos achieve just that.

“Over the years we’ve explained the financial incentives, the modernisation opportunities, and the essential advantages that an apprentice can provide. With this campaign we share first-hand real life experiences from employers who have seen multiple benefits since employing an apprentice.”
