Mixergy has been awarded with a King’s Award for Enterprise in Innovation.
According to a statement, 197 organisations have received the King’s Award for 2025.
Mixergy said its hot water solutions use machine learning and innovative engineering to provide products that reduce carbon and maximise efficiency in the home. The company added that its cylinders are compatible with any heat source at any time during the product’s lifetime, including gas or electric heating, solar PV or heat pumps.
Pete Armstrong, CEO and co-founder of Mixergy, said: “We’re incredibly proud to receive The King’s Award for Enterprise. This prestigious recognition highlights our dedication and passion for innovation, particularly in unlocking flexibility and facilitating the use of lower carbon energy sources. At Mixergy, we are committed to supporting the UK’s transition to net zero and optimising energy use in homes.
“This award is a testament to the hard work of our brilliant team and the continued support from our partners who share our mission to decarbonise homes.”
The King’s Awards for Enterprise, previously known as The Queen’s Awards for Enterprise, were renamed in 2023. Businesses who win an award are able to use the King’s Awards Emblem for the next five years. The Award programme is now in its 59th year.
