Logic4training celebrates 20 years in business

Logic4training is celebrating 20 years in business by implementing a new logo and more user-friendly website.

Opened in 2002, originally as ‘Gas Logic’, the company started out focusing on Gas ACS re-assessment. Over the past two decades, the business has added electric, plumbing, F Gas and renewable training, as well as online health and safety courses.

Logic4training’s first centre in Northolt has been joined by additional training locations in Basildon, Luton and most recently Sittingbourne.

Mark Krull, director for Logic4training, said: “The last 20 years has been a period of evolution across the building services engineering sector, and Logic4training has been along for this ride. From the dawn of the Gas Safe register to the renewables boom stimulated initially by the Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI) and Feed in Tariff (FiTs), we have adapted our business to meet the needs of installers and the sector at large.

“While the last few years have been challenging (as they have for everyone), Covid and the resultant lack of students in our classrooms, has stimulated a greater use of e-learning and our exclusive online platform ClubLogic, which features course materials that candidates can access at a time to suit.

“Other recent adaptations have included our portfolio of training programmes for complete new entrants, covering gas, plumbing and domestic electrics, encouraging fresh faces into the industry – from college leavers to career changers. We’re also committed to helping people beyond the classroom and have added online business modules, free websites and Checkatrade membership on our Gold and Platinum entry-level packages.

“Building Services Engineering (BSE) continues to face a skills shortage, so we must encourage the existing installer-base to upskill to meet the demands of a low carbon future, while communicating the great career prospects of our industry to as many people as possible. Part of this challenge is broadening the reach of BSE beyond its traditional customer-base. To that end, we are committed to ensuring our centres are welcoming places, with flexible course delivery to suit candidates from all walks of life.

“Logic4training has recently signed-up to LCL Awards Inclusivity Charter, set up by the Awarding Organisation to encourage inclusivity and diversity in its approved training centres, which should have a knock-on effect into workplaces. There’s still a long way to go, but there’s definitely a more varied range of people in our classrooms compared with 20 years’ ago.

“It’s all change in our industry so now seems like the right time to freshen up the look and feel of Logic4training, ready for the next 20 years.”
