The winners of this year’s Installer Awards were announced at the Installer Show, which took place at the NEC in Birmingham earlier this month.
The awards bring together the Heating Installer Awards and the Plumber Awards under one umbrella.
Daniel Davies, of Daniel Davies Plumbing and Heating Engineers from Lampeter, was named as the UK’s Heating Installer of the Year. He received the award for his work on a 200-year-old stone farmhouse that had stood abandoned for almost a century.
Louchavan Lemard, co-founder of PH247, won the Plumber of the Year award. Judges praised his “technical expertise, commitment to customer service and ability to deliver practical solutions that make a meaningful difference to homeowners”.
According to a statement, Daniel and Louchavan take home prize bundles worth thousands of pounds. All Heating Installer Awards winners receive a three-night trip to Denmark to visit Danfoss HQ. In addition, the winner of each awards receives a holiday voucher from Powered Now worth £1,000 and all finalists receive £100 vouchers. The other sponsors provide product, vouchers and gifts to finalists.
Another winner was Daisy Turner of Toucan Heating and Plumbing, who was named Rising Star of the Year. The statement added that the Essex-based apprentice impressed judges with both her technical ability and her wider contribution to the industry. Alongside delivering a complex heating and plumbing project to support a family adapting their home for critical medical needs, Daisy has taken on mentoring responsibilities at college. She has worked closely with manufacturers to improve training facilities for future apprentices.
Laura Mashiter, Installer Awards’ founder, said: “The standard of entries across both the Heating Installer Awards and the inaugural Plumber Awards has been outstanding. Our winners have demonstrated not only exceptional technical expertise, but also the professionalism, problem-solving skills and customer-first approach that are helping to drive standards across the industry.
“Competition was incredibly tough, making this year’s achievements even more impressive. Congratulations to all of our winners and finalists, who should be extremely proud of the recognition they have received.”
The Installer Awards are supported by industry partners and sponsors including Danfoss, Powered Now, Samsung Climate Solutions, Stelrad, the Chartered Institute of Plumbing and Heating Engineering, CT1, Kingsbridge, Polypipe Building Products, InstallerSHOW and Refresh.
Pre-registration is open for the Installer Awards 2027.
