Ideal Heating has announced it will be the principal sponsor of rugby club Derby RFC for the 2021/2022 season.
The agreement will see the Ideal Heating logo sit on the back of club shirts this season.
Mike Carr, commercial chair at Derby RFC said: “We have big plans for the years ahead. We are keen to reach the highest level we can within amateur rugby. The sponsorship from Ideal will give us the opportunity to invest further to support our players and members base so we can achieve our goals.
“As a community club, we also have lots of ways for people in and around Derby to get involved, from other clubs for youngsters to venue hire for celebrations. Having a sponsor who recognises the importance of fostering community is one of the reasons Ideal is a great partner for us.”
Chief executive of Ideal Heating, Shaun Edwards, said: “Derby RFC is a fabulous club that has built a strong sense of community and is making a real difference in their area. We’re excited to get involved, cheer the team on and see where the partnership takes us.”
