Heat pump network talk to feature at next week’s Regen conference

Embracing networked heat pumps across UK regeneration projects will be discussed during the return of a flagship conference and exhibition in Liverpool next month.

Regen 2022 will take place at St George’s Hall on November 2nd and 3rd, hosted by HPM parent company Mark Allen Group.

A peer-reviewed white paper ‘Integrated Energy Systems and Networked Heat Pumps’ will be presented by Dr Matthew Trewhella, CEO of Kensa Group on the second morning.

Matt joined Kensa in 2013 and has overseen the development of large-scale delivery operations, helping pioneer the use of ambient shared ground loop ground source heat pump systems in the UK.

Regen’s conference programme has been designed for an audience including urban and rural regeneration specialists, contractors, developers, housing departments, architects, specifiers, engineers, installers, urban designers and planners.

Steve Rotheram, Metro Mayor of the Liverpool City Region, will deliver a keynote address at the beginning of Day One, having overseen close to £1bn worth of investment in the area since being elected in 2017.

A host of other high profile speakers will include Michael Parkinson CBE, professor at The University of Liverpool, and Catherine Holmes, head of cities and major conurbations at Homes England.

“We are delighted to be bringing Regen back to the majestic venue of St George’s Hall once again, at an exciting time for regeneration and levelling up across the country,” said Marc Young, publisher at Mark Allen Business. “With two days’ worth of expert talks and the latest products on show, delegates and visitors have every reason to visit St George’s Hall from 2-3 November.”
