Glow-worm has announced a new 12-month corporate sponsorship agreement with Band of Builders, a construction industry charity.

The company said the sponsorship aims to give installers opportunities to help others in the trade or raise awareness of where to reach out should they need support themselves.

Band of Builders supports tradespeople, construction workers and their families during times of crisis. The charity has a 24-hour wellbeing and crisis support service, where construction workers can text BoB to 85258 for confidential support. It also delivers home adaptation and renovation projects.

Glow-worm’s sponsorship builds on its Got Your Back campaign. The company stated that the campaign focuses on providing tradespeople with the tools, resources and support they need to get the job done.

James Fowler, marketing and strategy director at Glow-worm, said: “While Glow-worm will always have installers’ backs through reliable products, expert support and access to training, we want to go further.

“Our partnership with Band of Builders allows us to extend that support to those in the construction industry who are facing both professional and personal challenges. By working together, we can help ensure more tradespeople know where to turn when times get tough, while also encouraging others to get involved and support this important work.”

Gavin Crane, CEO of Band of Builders, added: “We are delighted to welcome Glow-worm as a sponsorship partner for 2026. With demand for our services continuing to grow, it is vital that more companies across the industry work alongside us.

“Glow-worm’s support will help us extend the reach and impact of our work, ensuring more people within the construction community receive help when they need it most.”
