EBB recognises Stiebel Eltron’s sustainable technology

Stiebel Eltron has been recognised for its climate-friendly heating technology by the Europe Environmental Bureau (EEB).

Stiebel Eltron’s entire product range is compatible with climate targets, the EEB said, placing Stiebel in the ‘Leaders’ group during its assessment.

According to market analysis by the EEB, companies within this group are ‘leading the energy turnaround’ in boiler rooms and are setting stricter standards for their own technologies than required by law.

Mark McManus, managing director at Stiebel Eltron UK, said: “It’s fantastic to be recognised by the EEB for the work Stiebel Eltron has been doing to spark a shift away from traditional boilers towards environmentally friendly heat pumps.

“This is a combination of the whole company’s efforts, and we’re pleased to say that here in the UK we’ve invested in our own facilities to help ensure Stiebel Eltron is a leader in this field.

“At Stiebel Eltron we know it isn’t just about offering the best products for the job, but the best installers who can ensure a project is carried out efficiently, and to the highest quality possible. By doing this we can continue to help drive forward the energy transition.”
