Daikin has announced the opening of its new Sustainable Home Centre in London, developed in partnership with London Plumbing & Heating Supplies.
The Centre was set to officially open on Friday 7 August 2026 at 531 Barking Rd, London E6 2LN.
London Plumbing & Heating Supplies was founded more than 25 years ago by three brothers who opened a small plumbing and heating merchant in East Ham. According to a statement, the company has grown from a single shop into four branches and warehouses while retaining its family values and customer-first approach. In 2023, the business began expanding into renewables in response to rising demand for low carbon heating solutions.
Attendees who open an account on the day would be entered into a prize draw to win a Daikin air purifier, while those who sign up for Daikin training will receive a £10 voucher.
Kota Ikeda, national residential sales manager at Daikin, said: “The Sustainable Home Centre embodies our shared goal to make low-carbon heating solutions attainable and practical for everyday homes and businesses. Through our showroom and training facility we give installers and homeowners hands-on access to products, technical guidance and the skills needed to speed up the adoption of heat pumps and other renewable technologies.”
