Daikin has been announced as weekly sponsor of National Heat Pump Week, a new national campaign from the Heat Pump Association UK (HPA UK) and Nineteen Group.

The campaign is set to run from 12 to 16 October 2026. According to a statement, it is designed to accelerate the UK’s transition to heat pumps, bringing together installers, specifiers and industry experts through a series of webinars, articles, interviews and market insights.

As sponsor, Daikin will participate in three sessions. The first, titled ‘Introduction to Heat Pumps’, will take place at 11am on Monday 12 October. It will provide an overview of heat pump technologies including air-to-water, air-to-air and ground source systems.

At 11am on Tuesday 13 October, the second session, titled ‘Heat Pumps for Commercial Buildings’, will explore the opportunities and challenges of commercial heat pump installations.

The last session, titled ‘Building Homes of the Future – Future Homes Standard’ will take place at 3pm on Wednesday 14 October. It will examine the upcoming Future Homes Standard and its implications for low-carbon heating and energy efficiency in new-build homes.

Matteo Dall’Ombra, commercial marketing manager from Daikin, said: “National Heat Pump Week is a valuable opportunity for the industry to address some of the questions and challenges surrounding the transition to heat pump technology.

“As an industry, we need to ensure that installers, specifiers and building owners have access to clear, practical information that enables them to make informed decisions. We’re pleased to be supporting the campaign and contributing our expertise to discussions around the role heat pumps can play within both residential and commercial buildings.”
