Daniel Watkins has been named as Conex Bänninger’s Installer Hero for 2020, after the supplier embarked on a search for the UK’s most selfless plumbing and heating professionals.
Daniel, who runs D Watkins Plumbing & Heating, in Potters Bar, Hertfordshire, was chosen by darts legend Bobby George as the overall winner – after he supported key workers during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Along with the Installer Hero 2020 trophy, he won a REMS press machine and B profile jaw set, a selection of >B< Press fittings and Conex Bänninger merchandise.
He said: “I was really surprised and honoured to find out that I was selected as the 2020 Installer Hero. This year has been tough for everyone and I wanted to do my bit to support the front-line NHS staff who have been working exceptionally hard in really difficult circumstances.”
The three runners-up were Matthew Walker of Daley Plumbing and Heating, Matthew Soar of Multifuel Heating and Frankie Barea of Elite Heat, who received a £100 Amazon voucher each.
