City Plumbing hosted a renewables trade event at its Bournemouth branch on Tuesday 27 February.

The national plumbing and heating merchant focused on solar and air source heat pumps and accessories at the event in Bournemouth, a statement said. The event offered tradespeople a chance to see and interact with a showcase of products from multiple suppliers in the renewables field, it noted.

A full day event running from 7am to 7pm, tradespeople were able to drop in throughout the day. There were promotions on many of the product ranges and the opportunity to speak with manufacturers and the City Plumbing team about their products.

Hemal Morjaria, managing director of City Plumbing’s Renewables and Electrical division, said: “This event gives installers, renewables specialists, gas engineers and electricians the opportunity to see a broad range of products up close and chat with manufacturers and suppliers about the various features and benefits.

“We have more than 1,600 current customers within a 20-mile radius of our City Plumbing Bournemouth branch and a further 250 renewable installers located nearby. We’d love to host both existing and new customers to give them an opportunity to find out more about our renewable products.

“As a business, we’re committed to a greener future and hosting this Electrification of Heat event specifically for our trade customers gives us a fabulous opportunity to talk through the future of decarbonisation.”
