Carhartt has outlined the features of its bib dungarees, which were first designed in the 1800s.
The R01 Duck Bib Dungarees (102776) are made from heavyweight cotton duck. They feature reinforced kick panels, double-layered knees and stretch side panels for improved movement. They come in a relaxed fit with multiple pockets for tools and essentials.
Carhartt’s loose fit Denim Bib Dungarees (104672) are a made with midweight denim to make it easier for the wearer to move when climbing, bending or working in confined spaces. The dungarees also feature triple-stitched seams, a multi-compartment bib pocket with secure zip closure, along with front pockets and a hammer loop.
The Canvas Bib Dungarees (102987) incorporate Rugged Flex technology, which stretches so it’s easier to bend, crouch and work throughout the day. The bib dungarees have reinforced cuffs, double-layer knees, full circumference kick panels and practical storage, such as a multi-compartment bib pocket.
Carhartt also has a range of bib dungarees designed specifically for women. The Canvas Bib Dungarees (102438) combine the classic Carhartt look with a softer stretch canvas. They come in a loose fit with reinforced knees and multiple tool pockets. This range features a secure zip chest pocket, additional utility pockets and a hammer loop.
