Baxi Taxi campaign gives installers a real lift

Baxi Taxi

Baxi Heating has expanded the reach of what it described as the world’s cosiest taxi.

This week the taxi was sent to Manchester, Preston, Birmingham and Nottingham, with its long-term location to be decided by social media.

The Baxi Taxi, initially launched in London, has been decked out from top to bottom with crushed velvet, faux fur throws and a fluffy sheepskin rug.

Baxi installers were invited to book a free ride by tweeting @Baxi_Taxi with their postcode and preferred pick up time. The taxi will be in Birmingham on Wednesday and Nottingham the following day.

David Cook, sales director at Baxi, said: “The Baxi Taxi is here to get passengers to their destinations in warmth and luxury, so it is the perfect pick me up for hardworking installers to take advantage of and treat themselves to a cosy ride, which is completely free of charge.

“We’ve used our boiler and heating know-how to make a small space feel as warm and inviting as possible – with fantastic results.

Free lifts were available between 10am and 2pm this week, with bookings taken on a first-come-first-serve basis.
