Baxi offers funding and support with apprenticeship scheme

Baxi Approved Installers are invited to apply for funding and support if they take on an apprentice in 2021 in Baxi’s new scheme designed to support approved installers grow their business.

Working in conjunction with selected local colleges in England (BMet College, Birmingham, Weston College, Weston-Super-Mare, Leeds College of Building), the Baxi apprenticeship scheme pays for the college fees of successful applicants. They will also be provided with branded workwear, PPE, free Baxi product/specialist training, work experience with a Baxi engineer and a factory tour.

Approved installers need to apply by 13 June 2021. The successful candidates will be invited for interviews in July 2021 and offers will be made in August 2021, before the course starts in September 2021.

Steve Owen, national training manager at Baxi, said: “This is a fantastic opportunity for Baxi’s network of approved installers and their new gas engineering apprentices to get ahead and receive funding and support from Baxi.

“We all have a role to play in providing the next generation with the skills and support required to enter the industry and thrive, so our hope is that this scheme will open the door for even more entrants to start their career journey.”
