ADEY is relocating its UK head offices from Cheltenham to a purpose-built facility in Gloucester, months after opening a manufacturing and distribution facility on the same site.
The water treatment manufacturer and magnetic filtration pioneer created the new base at St Modwen Park, close to Junction 12 of the M5, in March. Now the company is developing the site into its 44,000sq ft headquarters.
ADEY said it will be recruiting permanent and temporary roles to support the new production facility over the coming months.
Group managing director Matthew Webber said: “We’ve been based in Cheltenham for more than 15 years and although we’re moving, we’re really pleased that we’ll still be in the local area.
“The business has experienced significant growth over the past few years and the move to St Modwen Park will bring further benefits that we can continue to build on.
“Importantly, it enables us to have everything under one roof, giving us a controllable, scalable and sustainable platform to service increasing demand in our products and services from customers all over the world.
“As a modern workspace, the space has been designed to support a collaborative culture, enabling effective and Covid-safe flexible working practices for our teams, which is something that’s obviously become critical over the past year.
“In addition, the site’s strong sustainability credentials support our own environmental and corporate social responsibility goals, such as switching from diesel vehicles to a hybrid fleet utilising onsite electric charging points.
“Overall, the new HQ is a great platform that will be fundamental in supporting ADEY’s future growth.”
ADEY became the first occupants of St Modwen Park and has since been joined by kitchenware specialists ProCook.
