Worcester Bosch launches new campaign

Worcester Bosch has launched a new brand campaign aimed at guiding UK homeowners to find their perfect home heating system.

Titled ‘Your Perfect Match’, the campaign started with new consumer research by the company into British couples and their disagreements about when to turn the heating off as the UK enters the warmer months.

The research found 74% of British households are currently locked in a battle over when the cold weather is over and the heating can finally be switched off, arguing an average of five times a week about it.

A total of 48% of Brits admitted to being ‘secret heaters’, where they have turned the heating back on, but hide it from their other half.

Alongside the research, Worcester Bosch has partnered with husband and wife podcasters and television hosts – Chris and Rosie Ramsey – to front the campaign.

Chris said: “I have lost count of the amount of debates we have in our house about the heating. It’s like a cold blooded reptile and a warm blooded mammal are living together. The thermostat should be a source of warmth, not tension. That’s why Rosie and I have partnered with Worcester Bosch to take the heat out of the nation’s big home heating debate.”

The company said it has also launched its Perfect Match tool, an online tool that matches people with their perfect heating system.

Jo Shepherd, sales and marketing director at Worcester Bosch, added: “Chris and Rosie Ramsey themselves are a perfect match for each other and so we’re delighted to be partnered with them to help match UK homeowners with their perfect home heating system.

“The purpose of our new campaign is to get the public engaged with the heating market, while making the process of choosing the right heating system for a home much easier for both homeowner and installer – and ultimately driving more sales leads for installers. We encourage installers to get involved with the campaign by encouraging their customers to use the tool, and to try it out for themselves.”
