Plenty of new sponsors have joined the conference for the first time, along with some returning companies

With just under three months to go, sponsors looking forward to the 2018 Women Installers Together conference have voiced their thoughts.

Polyipe Building Materials have joined Stopcocks Women Plumbers for the second year as event partners to make the Women Installers Together Conference a reality.

Rachel Smith, general manager of Polypipe Underfloor Heating, said: “Last year we had a fantastic turnout from women plumbers from all over the UK and we hope to build on that success in year two. We look forward to meeting all the Independent Women (Plumbers).”

New Headline Sponsor Graham Plumber’s Merchant said: “Graham Plumber’s Merchant is delighted to sponsor Stopcocks’ Women Installers Together Conference this year, recognising the work Stopcocks is doing to encourage women into industry. The Women Installers Together Conference is an exciting event run by a company that has the potential to alter the face of the plumbing industry for the better.”

Clare Hindley, new sponsor Redrow’s new entrant programmes manager, added: “It’s very heartening to see barriers actively being broken down in our industry. That can only be a great thing for customers and the construction industry.”

Also showing their support for the second year are are Fernox and Vaillant. Alice Woolley, Vaillant’s UK marketing director said: “It is vital that we as an organisation do as much as we can to show our support for Stopcocks and encourage more women to join our industry. We are delighted to be a part of the Women Installers Together event and look forward to seeing everyone there”.

Other new sponsors joining this year include Monument Tools and Brian Hyde.
