Installers have been invited to attend the Smith Brothers Birmingham open day to celebrate the relocation of its branch.
The event will take place at Alpha Park in Smethwick on July 5 starting at 11:30am. Darts legend, Andy “the hammer” Hamilton, has been booked for an appearance.
Along with playing darts, there will be a golf competition and a raffle to win prizes including SBS merchandise. A hog roast and drinks would also be available throughout the day, a statement added.
The Birmingham branch is now apart of a 14-depot network located in the England and Wales areas. Its relocation is in a long line with Leicester, head office, Bristol and Oldham all moving to larger and more modern premises after growing out of their current facilities.
Dave Taylor, joint Birmingham branch manager, said: “There has been a fantastic growth in business since opening the doors back in October 2008 to current day where we have gone from strength to strength. Our achievements have only been able to succeed with the backing of our board and the support of our suppliers, customers and most importantly our staff.”
