Ben Dixon, an apprentice plumbing and heating engineer, has been named Apprentice of the Year by Bradford College – and was awarded a trophy and 55-piece tool kit, courtesy of sponsor, Vokera.

The 20-year-old has been on the Level Three Apprenticeship programme at Bradford College for the past two years, organised through apprenticeship provider, City Training Services.

Ben said: “I have really enjoyed completing my training at Bradford College. The workshops are well kitted out and the tutors have been great. The award has come as a surprise but I am very pleased to receive it. After completing my level three I am now fully qualified and excited to start working full time.”

City Training Services offers apprenticeships and traineeships in a range of sectors. A full list of vacancies can be seen at: www.citytraining.org.uk
