ELCO Heating Solutions has reinforced its sales and support teams with the appointment of Silviu Catana as specification manager for heat pumps and Peter Collins as areas sales manager for Scotland.
Silviu will be responsible for supporting consultants and contractors in the effective design and installation of commercial heat pump systems
Peter will be responsible for helping ELCO grow its market share throughout Scotland, driving sales of commercial heating, hot water, district heating and renewable products, including the company’s latest range of heat pumps.
Silviu has worked exclusively in the heating industry since graduating with a degree in Building Services, with his most recent seven-year role focussed on the design and management of air and ground source heat pump projects.
Peter arrives at ELCO with over 30 years’ experience in the heating and plumbing industry, having worked in a variety of different roles, including time on the tools, in consulting engineering and more recently in sales.
Silviu said: “Sustainable heating technology has a huge potential for growth in the UK market and the specification of these has increased dramatically in recent years. With an in-depth knowledge of heat pump technology, I’m looking forward to supporting consultants as much as possible, whether it is through providing schematics, CPDs or general design advice.”
