With a standard UK wallplate on the Heat Hub, WISER can be retrofitted in minutes. WISER boasts a simple user interface, enabling multiple users to easily control heating and water temperature across a number of rooms in a home, wherever they are, with the use of a simple App. Downloadable on both Android and iOS devices, WISER is also compatible with internet connected voice control systems such as Amazon Alexa. A unique feature of the WISER range is the addition of smart radiator thermostats, which can be easily and quickly installed onto existing radiators. With valve adaptors included, installation is as simple as unscrewing the existing radiator valve head and screwing on the new smart radiator thermostat. This offers users a flexible approach to smart heating with the option of individual room control in up to 16 rooms. Each radiator thermostat includes a simple ‘boost turn’ function to enable a 2ºC increase or decrease in temperature for an hour. Designed as a buildable system, WISER centres around the Heat Hub, with three ready-made thermostat kits, as well as two multi-zone kits available. Further room thermostats and radiator thermostats can be added, allowing users to expand the system over time. www.draytoncontrols.co.uk www.hpmmag.com September 2017 Ariston NET has the ability to monitor boilers remotely, enabling installers to offer the best possible levels of support. The system puts installers and their businesses in prime position to remotely monitor, adjust and even fix customers’ boilers in ‘real time’ should a fault occur. Diagnosing boilers in real time can further enhance customer retention, as it helps installers to fully understand their needs. Ariston NET assists with this by providing direct access to system status and error reports. In addition, these remote diagnostic and fault finding capabilities allow installers to offer their customers a better level of service. Plus, such functions present the opportunity for extra support in the form of enhanced service offerings and high-end maintenance contracts. Another advantage of Ariston NET is its live monitoring display ‘fault notification,’ which has been designed for better business management and job prioritisation – assisting installers in terms of maximising time, productivity and operational efficiency. For example, the system will identify if any spare parts are required, ensuring installers are fully prepared when they arrive on site. It even stores customers’ contact details and sets reminders for servicing, allowing for easier management of appointments. The Ariston NET app is available through the AppStore and Google Play. www.ariston.com/uk/aristonnet The new Eco provides effortless heating control using the Danfoss Eco App to programme individual radiator thermostats via Bluetooth technology. Offering an easy and cost-effective transition to intelligent heating for homes and small commercial premises, Eco ensures optimum comfort and potential savings of up to 30% on heating bills. In addition to the energy saving benefits for end-users, Danfoss Eco is purpose-designed to be fast and simple to install by a professional heating installer in new and replacement applications. The Danfoss Eco App makes it easy for end-users to programme the heating to suit their daily schedule. Having downloaded the App and activated Bluetooth, Eco thermostats can be programmed individually from a smartphone from a distance of up to ten metres: a red light is illuminated on the thermostat to indicate successful connection. Alternatively, Eco can be adjusted manually using the turn-wheel option. Danfoss Eco radiator thermostat is compatible with 90% of all radiator valves. This makes it an ideal solution for upgrading existing installations, either as a replacement on all radiators for maximum energy savings, or starting with just the one. The Danfoss Eco also boasts best-in-class noise performance at less than 30dBA. www.heating.danfoss.co.uk Drayton offers the next generation of smart heating controls enquiry number 137 enquiry number 136
